Hey, this is nabmac, just testing out how things look and stuff. Zell's done a terrific job on the site, and I'm quite looking forward to play on it.

*pokes and prods the buttons* They look so complicated! lol, I love it.

Right next to the text of your post is a little pencil, btw, and that allows inline editing of your post.

Dude, that is awesome.

Sadly, even we have to reach 50 posts before the karma will work.

I started writing another fic...probably going to be a short one. AE/NB, but I cant finish it now as my eyelids are all droopy. I also feel really nervous about writing your character, cos well...he's your character and I don't want to get him all wrong.

Eh... He's an easy character sheet.  Watch out, this entire post is geeking out.  I can do this in my sleep.  I think I have...

Let's start with nature and demeanor.  They're archetypes that describe the character internally and externally.  The new system uses virtue and vice instead.  I'll include both here.

Nature: Visionary (The nature is the inner self, the part they prefer not to show the world.  Armand, as he sees things, feels the world could be a better place and is willing to work toward that goal.)
Demeanor: Bon Vivant (The demeanor is the mask we wear so that people don't know the truth of who we are.  The Bon Vivant is celebratory.  Life is not only fine the way it is, but should be celebrated in many ways.  It's fun, flirtatious, and like a good party.)
Virtue: Faith (Virtues are the opposites of the sins, Faith, Hope, Justice, Fortitude, Charity, Prudence, and Temperence.  In this case, Armand has Faith.  Two that often get mixed up are Faith and Hope.  Faith has personal hope and maintains that things will be alright.  Hope inspires hope in others, convincing them that everything will be alright, whether or not they believe it themselves.)
Vice: Lust (Vices are the 7 Deadly Sins.  It's something that is hard for them fight against [not impossible, but it can be stressful].  To give in to a vice allows relaxation, de-stressing, and a allows for a little more will to do other things.)

Along with those are the "path."  All humans are path of humanity.  I prefer the old system on this one.  You have Conscience, Self-Control, and Courage.  Averaging Conscience and Self-Control, rounding up, gives you your Humanity.  3 is average, once more.  You automatically have a point in each, and then 7 points between them afterward.

Conscience: 4
Self-Control: 4
Courage: 3
Humanity: 4

The average adult (whitewolf larp-wise) is 7,5,3 in traits.  5 is an average level.  2 is an average level per trait.  Traits are physical, social, or mental.  Moreover, this is a beginning stat-line.  There are extra points that can go here later, and most do.  So really, think:
1 - below average
2 - average
3 - above average
4 - exceptional
5 - genious

There are more traits than what I have listed.  If you really wanna see them, you should be able to google vampire larp traits.

Armand's physical: 7
Wiry x4 (strong, but doesn't look to have much muscle mass)
Enduring x3 (a stamina trait, how long he can keep doing something)
No constitution traits (he's not one to take damage often, but he doesn't take it well... has potions to make up for it)

Armand's social: 9
Gorgeous x5
Manipulative x2
Charismatic x2

Armand's mental: 8
Knowledgable x4
Wise x2
Perceptive x2

Skills are what you know and do.  The tabletop system and new systems both use a seperation of things into three categories.  The old system is Skills, Talents, and Knowledges.  The new system goes back to Physical, Social, Mental.  I prefer the old categories, myself.  These are 11/9/7 by tabletop.  Again, extra points can be added here based on circumstance

1 - proficient
2 - have a degree
3 - bachlor's
4 - master's
5 - doctorate

Talents:
Empathy x1
Expression x1
Intimidation x3
Leadership x2
Streetwise x1
Subterfuge x1

Skills:
Crafts x1
Etiquette x3
Performance x2
Survival x1

Knowledges:
Bureaucracy x1
Investigation x2
Science x2
Academics (Herbology) x5
Academics (Potions) x3
Academics x1

Merits and flaws are the things that can add or detract from a character.  There are negative traits also, but merits and flaws tend to be more serious.

Merits:
Enchanting Voice
True Love (that one's new *coughcough*)

Flaws:
Soft-Hearted (for him, it's all fun an games until someone starts to cry... he forgives very easily, and has potential to be a doormat)

There's other parts to a character sheet, like backgrounds and influences, but I don't think you really needs stats for that.  He's got an inside to the Ministry: Slade.  And he has money.  Probably has some contacts elsewhere, like in an Herbology community or something, but no big deal.

That's about the core of Armand.  Pretty much, go with how you've seen me play him, and if you think something might be a little out of character, just check back here.
